Tastes just like I remember I hate to admit that it had been about 10 years since I'd been back to Texas Pride BBQ, why has it taken me this long?!?!?! Well, let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I ordered a brisket plate, with two sides. I ended up getting green beans, and some of the best Mac &Cheese around! So yummy.!!!! I also had the pleasure of speaking to the owner briefly, he was so kind, and was constantly making sure his staff was in the "Know". The day we went they were overwhelmed with and event and you could tell the staff was just doing a remarkable job of serving up all of this food. Great Job! As far as the brisket, it was perfection! Moist and savory like it should be, didn't need the BBQ sauce, it was that GOOD on it's own. I give them FIVE yummy faces hands down. Oh, and when you go, grab that peach cobbler, you won't regret it.
Mac and cheese was fresh and cheesy. Creamed corn was delicious and brisket sandwich was loaded and tender. The staff is all very friendly a.d attentive
Very cute place that is a lot bigger than it looks from the road. They have a stage with a large outdoor area for nights when they have bands playing. The indoor dining area has a big bar with plenty of seating. There is also an outdoor playground for the kiddos!! The only downside was I felt like it was a little on the pricey side, but once I tasted the pulled pork bbq I didn't care any more! It was flavorful and tender! If your in the area I definitely recommend stopping by!
We LOVE this place—great sides and flavorful brisket, moist turkey, and fun collection of memorabilia. This is traditional bbq where you eat from butcher paper, but that’s half the fun... Plain sausage was plain... tea and lemonade are good!!

get in line, choose your food, pay, go eat. really good stuff. really solid BBQ. This place has been here for years and it's evident as to why. the pecan cobbler is stupid good. We shared across the table and I don't think I had anything that wasn't really good. I am a member of a BBQ team that competes (non KCBS) and pulls in some hardware most of the time so I think I have a solid opinion on what is good and what is great. This place is great and it isn't pretentious about it. Texas BBQ is hard to stand out in as a result of having so many great places to eat the stuff. Keep it up.
